Our 9-hole course measures just over 6,400 yards when played from the medal tees over 18 holes.
Lying on parkland immediately adjacent to the world-famous landscape gardens of Stowe, views abound towards some notable monuments and follies, including Lord Cobham and Gibbs’s Bourbon Tower (c.1740) and, south of the site, Gibbs’s Stowe Castle (c.1740).
Stowe is synonymous with the game of golf and it is remarkable to think that golf has been played within the grounds of Stowe since the 1920s. Stoics have been able to play and develop their golfing skills during their time at Stowe, with the likes of the great ‘Laddie’ Lucas and John Langley who both honed their talents at Stowe before progressing to represent Great Britain and Ireland in the Walker Cup.
As our course is situated within Stowe School, membership is limited, and on an application basis, resulting in a small and welcoming community.
Our pricing is set at a competitive rate to reflect the reduced access times, comparative to other sites.
